Towards a Global Past: History in the Age of Globalization led by Daniel Sargent (History) and Brian Delay (History). Globalization may be the wave of the future, but what are its consequences for the past? By organizing a speaker series that brings historians of international and global themes into dialogue with scholars in other disciplines, this colloquium examines how globalization alters our maps of the past as well as how we might go about writing its history.
