Abstract:
Conversations host Harry Kreisler welcomes pollster Peter D. Hart for a discussion of his life and work. After reflections on his formative experiences, Hart discusses the melding of quantitative and qualitative insight in his polling, the impact of technology on the field, the challenges facing the profession, the quality of American leadership, and the state of public opinion on the issue of U.S. decline.
