Bio/CV:
Cassandra Calciano is a senior majoring in Data Science and Russian/Eastern European/Central Asian Languages and Literatures. Having studied intensive Russian in Riga, Latvia and previous experience as a Data Engineer intern, her research interests lie in computational linguistics and multilingual natural language processing. As part of the Data Discovery Program she has worked as a data science research assistant in the Spanish and Portuguese Department. Currently, she is on the Student Advisory Board for the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society and working on a senior thesis in the field of digital humanities.
