The Berkeley Academic Freedom in a Global Perspective seminar engages University of California, Berkeley faculty, students, and the community on freedom of expression in academia. It provides an opportunity to bring researchers and practitioners specifically focused on freedom of speech issues to campus. By looking at freedom of expression from a global perspective, we aim to shed light on efforts to limit dialogue in different parts of the world.
