The Alexander Hamilton Society is invites you to a special screening of the award-winning PBS documentary Invisible Nation.
Invisible Nation invites viewers on an unprecedented journey with Taiwan’s first female president as she works to secure her nation’s future. The film offers an in-depth look at Taiwan’s past, present, and uncertain future. As a young democracy with strong civil liberties and fair elections, Taiwan has demonstrated remarkable resilience and strategic leadership while navigating its relationships with China and the United States and seeking to secure its place in the world.
Please join us for a special screening on April 10 from 4:00–7:00 PM in VLSB 2040. The event will include a post-screening discussion featuring Taiwan and Asia experts, democracy advocates, and geopolitical leaders who will discuss the film and Taiwan’s future.
