The IIS Conference Room may be requested for use by University of California groups as well as outside groups for lectures and workshops. Contact iis@berkeley.edu.
Please note that the room is not a complete facility and is unable to accommodate large-scale full-day or multi-day events. IIS cannot provide IT support. Technical support such as video, audiotaping, or live streaming must be coordinated with a campus-approved vendor.
SEATING CAPACITY
Maximum capacity is 49. Tables and chairs can be reconfigured by the user as preferred but must be returned to the standard arrangement at the end of the event (see photo). There are three small tables that can be used to serve coffee and snacks. A kitchen is located next door and can be used to store food for post-event receptions.
HOURS
Normal hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00pm.
EQUIPMENT
Audiovisual equipment includes large-screen TV with HDMI plug-in and remote. A lectern is also available.
POLICIES
Individuals and groups who use the room are responsible for any damage to equipment, building, and furnishings incurred during the event.
