Faculty Funding Opportunities
Award Amount:
The maximum amount available for each series will be $30,000.
Eligibility:
Only senate faculty and lecturers are eligible. Visiting professors may participate in the colloquia, but will not receive individual research funding.

Eligibility:
Junior faculty members under consideration for tenure in 2011-2012 are not eligible to apply.

Maximum of $5,000. Funds must be spent by the conclusion of the conference for which they are awarded.
Eligibility:
Only senate faculty are eligible. Preference will be given to junior faculty and mid-career faculty, but senior faculty may apply as well.

up to $10,000
Eligibility:
Any junior faculty member conducting research in African studies or African languages.
