Every year, the Institute of International Studies awards a series of merit scholarships of up to $2000 each to support undergraduate research in international and interdisciplinary studies. After completing their research projects, scholarship recipients share their research at the IIS Junior Scholars Conference, held on-campus at the end of the academic year. Junior Scholars with the strongest research project, as determined by an IIS faculty panel, receive an additional $1000 prize. Students also have the opportunity to compete for the Best Poster Award, an additional $250 prize.
